As a Solution Engineering Data Engineer Specialist for PSSP, you will play a hands-on role in developing and supporting data integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across multiple platforms. You will work with CRM systems (Salesforce, Polaris), omnichannel tools (AWS Connect, NICE), and third-party data sources to support the ingestion and transformation of data into the PSSP data warehouse. Your work will directly support Pfizer’s digital and data-first strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.
What You Will AchieveIn this role, you will:
Develop and maintain data enablement processes (ingestion, preprocessing, transformation) for PHI/PII data from platforms such as Polaris CRM, IQVIA, AWS Connect, and Specialty Pharmacy Providers.Build and support scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools like AWS Glue, Informatica, Snowflake, and Python.Support platform operations through hands-on DevOps tasks (CI/CD, monitoring) and vendor coordination.Develop and deliver reporting and dashboards for key programs, ensuring timely and accurate insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and operational efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations (DTAs/DIAs), deployment guides, and data flow diagrams.Stay current on new features and enhancements in CRM/OCC/third‑party platforms and data tools; recommend improvements.This is a hands-on technical role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work across teams to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or software development.
Experience with ETL tooling (e.g., AWS Glue, Informatica) and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake); proficiency in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Polaris) and omnichannel tools (AWS Connect, NICE).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)Experience in pharmaceutical environments and with PHI/PII handling, HIPAA compliance, and secure data transmission.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps practices.
Experience with AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda), Snowflake optimization, and dashboarding tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and documentation standards.
