Provides centralized human resource services. Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes. Establishes standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs. Coordinates services with the human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists. Responds to eligibility and enrollment inquiries about employee benefit programs, including but not limited to life, health, and disability insurance, medical/dependent care spending accounts, COBRA, income continuance, and other paid time off as well as retirement and pension plans. Ensures that appropriate documentation is prepared to ensure new hire transactions and existing employee changes can be processed. May also answer questions about various benefits related mailings and communications. May perform research to achieve problem resolution.
The HR Representative is part of the HR Services team, providing recruitment and first line HR support to employees, managers and other customers, answering/processing day to day HR and benefits related inquiries and requests received through various channels (including myHR portal, e-mail and call center) with a strong focus on excellent customer service. The HR Representative will focus on supporting native language speakers (Hindu English) and may assist in additional activities, e.g. translation support for policies and documentation.
