The Enterprise Data Solutions and Engineering (EDSE), a Pfizer Digital organization is responsible for the development and management of all data and analytic tools and platforms across the enterprise – from research to commercialization and for all Pfizer countries. One of the team’s top priorities is the development of data solutions and products which will serve as the engine for the company’s digital transformation and growth. What You Will Achieve
Your technical and business skills will help Pfizer support and elevate the functioning of business information processing systems. Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate in the Commercial Analytics team within Pfizer’s Data Science & AI organization, you will:
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Digital, etc.) to deliver actionable insights that drive commercial strategy and execution.
Design and implement advanced analytics solutions including forecasting, segmentation, promotion response modeling, and ROI analysis.
Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for business audiences.
Leverage machine learning and statistical techniques to solve business problems and optimize commercial performance.
Collaborate with global teams to standardize and scale analytics solutions across markets and therapeutic areas.
Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with Pfizer’s data privacy and security standards.
Continuously explore new data sources, tools, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline).
3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data wrangling techniques.
Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
Good to Have:
Exposure to omnichannel analytics, digital marketing analytics, or patient journey analytics.
Familiarity with commercial data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva, or internal CRM systems.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
Knowledge of global healthcare systems and regulatory environments.
