**Job Summary**
Iron Mountain is seeking an **experienced** **Senior Associate, Credit & Collections** to join our **Credit & Collections** team.
In this role, you will be responsible for **independently managing a portfolio of accounts to minimize delinquency, assess customer creditworthiness, and proactively resolve complex billing and payment disputes** .
The Senior Associate acts as a role model, providing regular guidance and assistance to other collections agents within the vertical.
**What You'll Do (Responsibilities)**
In this role, you will:
+ **Independently manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts** on a month-over-month basis to achieve management-set delinquency targets.
+ **Collaborate with corporate customers and internal District, Area, Division, and Corporate teams** to resolve outstanding billing issues and payment delays.
+ **Ensure compliance with organizational standards** by documenting all collection efforts, adhering to Iron Mountain policy and procedures, and staying updated with relevant industry trends.
**What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)**
The ideal candidate will have:
+ **A minimum of five (5) years of experience** in collections, dispute resolution, billing, or revenue cycle management.
+ **Strong knowledge of various Collections systems and advanced ability** with commonly used software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Internet Browsers.
+ **Proven ability in complex problem-solving** requiring independent judgment, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and negotiation.
