At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

As a Workday consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing a broad range of consulting services across various Workday applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Workday applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Workday Time and Absence Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Gather requirements from the client on their Time Tracking or Absence Management needs and broader business requirements and how they align to Workday functionality.

Work with our team to configure the Workday solution to meet the customers’ Time and Absence related and broader business requirements

Help the customer and systems team test the Workday solution

Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate customers on the Workday solution

Recommend best practices to solve complex client requirements

Assist in developing functional specifications for reports and integrations

Troubleshoot and resolve of testing errors and issues in configuration, business processes, data conversion, documentation or the user's lack of experience

Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

Previous Consulting experience in Human Capital Management or in-house consulting in an HRIS capacity, ideally specializing in Time and Attendance or Absence Management

Demonstrated experience in Workday or other ERP, such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle or time capture platforms like Kronos or Infor

Participated in client workshops and hands on experience in implementation and technical support

Creation of documentation and training materials and knowledge transfer to clients and training of super users

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization

Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills

Experience with Payroll solutions and implementation would be an asset

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
