Our oil & gas Operator client are seeking a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to support the Deputy Company Secretary in corporate governance duties for the organisation.

Role Overview

Support the Deputy Company Secretary on Plc-related matters for the business. Provide governance insight and advice for subsidiary entities globally. Deliver Board support and corporate governance guidance across company entities. Contribute to the Governance section of the Annual Report and Form 20-F. Ensure compliance with evolving statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements. Manage registrar (Equiniti) relationship and ensure high-quality shareholder service.

Skills & Qualifications

Government Processing: Proficient in managing governmental and regulatory processes. Legislation & Compliance: Strong understanding of legal frameworks and compliance requirements. Contractual Rights & Obligations: Knowledgeable in managing contractual agreements and obligations.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Chartered Governance Institute qualification (or equivalent). Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a corporate secretariat function, including Plc experience. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory best practices relevant to the role.
