Senior Area Head of Operations

SENIOR AREA HEAD OF OPERATIONS

 

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Acts as a serving leader to direct, administer and oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of dialysis facilities and programs for Care Delivery Business in the Philippines.Contribute to the implementation of the International Care Delivery strategy by focusing on both high quality of service and cost effectiveness.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning and Execution, Budget Management, and Operational Excellence

Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan, and the broader organization's mission and vision. Motivate people to achieve local business goals.Deliver elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues. Implement improvement and operational excellence measures in close collaboration with the CDI Regional Head of Operations, Country Head, and other supporting functions.Deliver a budget and conduct complex analyses on budget progress in/for CDI Philippines.Oversee clinic operational area with guidance from senior colleagues. Involves responsibility for development and delivery of operational measures.Develop medium- or long-term work schedules that enable CDI Philippines to achieve its business goals. Involves coordinating across multiple teams.Suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program. Involves working with guidance from senior colleagues.

 

Organization Capability and People Management

Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team in CDI Philippines. Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project / account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these. Take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfil personal potential.Follow and comply with all relevant FME policies, guidelines, manuals and SOPs in the version as amended from time to time (“FME Policies”). Keeping updated about the current version of the FME Policies that are relevant for the role and integrate corporate values in daily business. Ensure and monitor that policies and services of the function are compliant with Compliance Framework.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Master's Degree or Equivalent Level in General Management, Finance, Clinic Management or similar area At least 3 years of experience that enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others At least 3 years of experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes  Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical technology is a benefit Highly experienced in clinic operations management and work allocation systems Personal competencies Functional Knowledge
