Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Architect - Life Sciences - Consultant with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

The Role

Core competency in Architectural designs and should have ability and hands on experience to work on schematic/statutory/ working drawings/schedule. Should have good experience in pharma facility site master plan layouts  Should have hands on experience in developing various pharma facility layouts for API, Formulation, Fill Finish, Vaccines & Warehouses (Raw & FG) Exceptional knowledge in the design of pharmaceutical and bio-tech manufacturing in line with FDA guidelines and laboratory facilities is preferred Expert understanding of building materials and systems, methods of construction and the integration of building services, structure, building core and envelope elements Good knowledge of Architectural BOQ & specifications for pharmaceutical projects. Good experience with Clean Room design and Pharma equipment, aware of Clean Design Standards under cGMP regulations and clean room details. Shall have knowledge of statutory regulations, LEEDs certifications requirements and sustainability related design concepts/requirements. Hands on experience on proposal estimate including man hour estimate, Cost & Quantity estimate Should have experience in constructability review.
