**Process Overview**
We provide Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Payment Solutions with direction on technology strategy and solutions in order to align with the business strategy. We manage architecture-related risks along with driving adherence to published standards, principles and technology blueprints. We have an exciting Senior Solutions Architect opportunity for an experienced technologist supporting Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management, Receivables, Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Commercial Card domains. The team have a global presence in the US, EMEA and APAC. You will have the opportunity to work on an exciting, challenging and varied book of work primarily focused on APAC Regulator Mandated Projects.
**Job Description**
We urgently need a Senior Architect (Band 5A) to support regulator mandated projects for the GCIB & GPS Technology CIO in the APAC region. Currently, we have one Senior Architect (APAC Regional Lead) based in Singapore, but additional resources are required to deliver solutions architecture and ensure regulatory projects meet their mandated timelines. This role will also be responsible for expanding the team in India to strengthen support for our APAC portfolio.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Works across the business, operations and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog to enable the technology roadmap and functionality to support evolving capabilities and services.
+ Contributes to the creation of the architecture roadmap of defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) in support of the product roadmap and the development of best practices including standardized templates.
+ Clarifies the architecture, assists with system design to support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments.
+ Facilitates solution driven discussions, leads the design of complex architectures, and finds creative solutions through knowledge of domain, practical experiments, and proof of concepts while ensuring architecture is flexible, modular, and adaptable.
+ Leads rapid shaping of a high-level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements; ensures architecture is flexible and modular and designed to adapt easily.
+ Drives best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes and tools.
+ Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions.
+ Supports the team as needed to select the technology stack required for solutions and helps select preferred technology products.
+ Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability
**Requirements:**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or related work experience
