Process Overview

Data Management Technology & Enterprise Architecture team enables our businesses to realize the maximum ROI on bank data assets. Data Management Technology provides valuable insights from our data through robust analysis and modeling, delivers advanced data and analytics platforms, data transformation, visualization tools, as well as a comprehensive data science platform. Enterprise Architecture & Technology Management advises and ensures the creation and maintenance of strategic architectures aligned to our Responsible Growth goals, and supports the management of software, libraries and technology products used by the Enterprise. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to develop blueprints, portfolio level designs, conduct new technology reviews, and architect, design and develop applications for our different Lines of Business.

Job Description

The senior enterprise architect represents a team of high-powered enterprise architects in delivering optimal and strategic architecture artifacts & solutions to the organization. This role is techno-functional, with strong emphasis on depth in domain and technologies as well as adept stakeholder management skills to work along with highly experienced solution architects.

The role is accountable for delivering analysis of laws, rules and regulations impacting architecture and cryptography deliverables of the bank that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio.  The role will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g., project managers, business analysts, strategic architects etc.) to create guideline documents and approaches that are aligned to the amendment / creation of practices, as dictated by the amendment / introduction of mandates.

Responsibilities

Laws, Rules & Regulations (LRR)Read LRR and prepare Mapping Sheet.Review with EATM LRR Review Lead.Review potential LRRs to identify likely impact to EATM.Attend Weekly review calls.Track completion in JIRA.Crypto, CBDC & Web3Analyze specific industry materials and prepare summary.Understand product technical profile.Help prepare reference architecture.Cryptography Audit Identified Issues (AII) – Ongoing support and remediation of AIIRepresent technology strategy & architecture in major programs / initiativesOversee and support Strategic, Functional & Technical Requirements gathering aligned to the LRR impactedPromote adherence of practices to bank policies and standards, architectural principles and guidelines.Ensure adherence to the architecture governance processes and complianceTechnical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of tools, technologies and architecture models.Thought leadership in evolving and refining architecture team processes based on needs of the broader organizationAdapt governance and operating models to work across with other architecture teams, as well as teams outside of architecture function (vendors, delivery, testing and production support etc.)

Foundational Skills
