Schwab is seeking a dynamic Angular UI and Java Lead Engineer with a passion for technology and excellence.

In this role as an individual contributor, you will be:

You will be required to do hands-on coding and mentorship for junior members of the team Leading daily activities, promoting Agile practices, and coordinating with key collaborators to meet project deadlines and budgetEstimating development sizing and costs and collaborating with the Scrum Master and product owner for efficient task prioritizationEnsuring quality through automated testing and TDD and integrating SSO to interconnect various internal and external systemsDriving release process improvements, assisting the Scrum Master with team needs, and synchronizing team efforts for seamless product releasesProactively identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans, and maintaining documentation and code quality standardsEngaging with both onshore and offshore teams to refine development practices

What you have

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience8-10+ years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise applications with Java/J2EE, and Angular environments10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years as Lead and/or Architect2-3+ years of experience with MongoDB, SAML, OAuth, REST Web Services, Kafka and transaction processing environments8-10+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Agile principles, object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and server-side application developmentAutonomous, creative, and efficient problem-solverExcellent understanding of current Architecture and Development StandardsAdept at mentoring and directing junior team members

Preferred Qualifications:
