Job Description:

Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
Main Responsibilities:
Support business operations by configuring systems or developing new features for Angular applications
Monitor, analyze, and report root causes of production issues, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Recommend and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of system glitches, defects, or bugs
Drive improvements in code quality and test automation
Analyze technology trends and identify opportunities to implement solutions that enhance business productivity and operations
Maintain up-to-date documentation for development and production support processes, continuously improving their effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a developer using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, code quality, and system design
Prior experience as a technical lead on a project
Proven front-end development expertise with a solid grasp of web technologies
Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
Experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications
Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)
Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or Jasmine
Understanding of UX/UI design principles
Experience in production support or providing technical assistance to business users is a strong advantage
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate in a multinational, team-oriented environment.
Academic Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Alternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) may also be considered.
Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
Preferred Industry Background:
Experience in the Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable. Prior exposure to production support and interaction with business users is an added advantage.
