Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portfolio **Your role and responsibilities** * Define, communicate and implement new features * Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability * Bug fixing and improving application performance * Work with outside data sources and APIs * Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency **Required technical and professional expertise** * Proven software development experience and Android skills development * Agile methodology * Have published at least one Android app * Experience with Android SDK * Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON * Experience with third-party libraries and APIs * Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies * Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. * Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVP/MVI * You are a problem solver with good analytical skills * Knowledge of Jetpack Compose * Experience with Kotlin Coroutines * Familiarity with continuous integration **Preferred technical and professional experience** Experience in building custom libraries shared by multiple projects IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
