Position Purpose:
Market Prognosis is an offering designed to aid strategic planning and corporate decision-making. The Market Prognosis team deliver a syndicated market forecasting publication that evaluates the impact of key issues on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in 49 countries and globally. The team focuses on analysis of developments in pharmaceutical and healthcare policy, pricing and reimbursement, market access, the regulatory environment, as well as industry, political and economic factors, in order to asses the growth prospects of markets globally.
The Senior Analyst role will be responsible for research, report writing and forecasting that provide specialist insights on pharmaceutical markets. The role will be focused on European and Latin American markets and requires the individual to conduct primary market research in local markets, in the local language where required.
Principle Accountabilities:
Creation of high quality analysis in the form of reports and forecasts for assigned countries, designed for senior decision-makers within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.Analysis and monitoring of market dynamics; gathering and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative information; numeric analysis.Primary market research face-to-face interviews with key industry opinion leaders in various international locations.Analysis and interpretation of IQVIA data and third party sources to create deep insights. Development of knowledge of various proprietary databases, methodologies, analytical approaches/frameworks that can be leveraged to produce Market Prognosis. Presentation and justification of forecasts and underlying assumptions to internal and external customers.Responding to client queries on analysis/data in area of expertise.Building of relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure offerings & services are delivered to the highest quality, on time and to specification.Participation in other forecasting projects, both syndicated and customised, as and when necessary.Support of Client and Analyst Service teams within Global Market Insights.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
First or upper-second class BA/BSc degree, Masters and or Doctorates desirable.2-3 or more years work experience in a similar environment, or a doctorate in a related field such as health economics, healthcare policy would be considered.Excellent English writing skills with published work.Appropriate languages for assigned region: French or another language preferredAdvanced analytical skills.High level of computer literacy including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Highly numerate - forecasting and/or modeling experience a major advantageRelevant pharmaceutical and health industry knowledge.Understanding and interest in economics and political riskSelf-motivated with excellent attention to detail.A flexible and collaborative approach.We know that meaningful results require not only the right approach but also the right people.
