The Job:  

The position is responsible for the development and coordination of the demand forecasts coordinating with Sales, Inventory Management, Planning and Manufacturing. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and within a group setting with multiple departments and points of contact within the company’s matrix organization. As a Senior Analyst, Demand Planner, you’ll be part of our SEF Industrial team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

Develop a demand forecast for use as a driver of the ERP systemDevelop a forecast by part number including:Review and analysis of sales history by part and by customerSelect an appropriate forecasting method for each partEnsure the data is translated into an appropriate production planMaintain the part number forecast in the ERP systemUnderstand macro-economic influences, specific industry trends as well as customer supply chains to build the demand forecastCoordinate with Sales and Marketing and Customer Service as well as with other internal customersPresent and review forecast with both the Commercial, Finance & Operations teams

The Person:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering (or related discipline)Minimum 5 years’ experience in a demand management/forecasting roleWorking knowledge of ERP software packages – JDE and SAP IBP knowledge a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint and Power BI requiredStrong communication, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical skills and results focusCross-functional problem solvingBusiness process implementation and maintenanceResults drivenAnalytical approach to issue identification and resolution.
