Our loyalty team manages United MileagePlus®, building travel and lifestyle partnerships that customers can engage with every day, and works with our Star Alliance partners to ensure United can take you anywhere you want to go. **Job overview and responsibilities** The Senior Analyst Co-Brand defines the lifecycle marketing strategies for MileagePlus co-brand cardholders and develops/delivers marketing/promotional campaigns that drive cardholder engagement, retention and profitability. Responsibilities include optimizing card spend growth, card benefits engagement and leading retention efforts through targeting cardholders with down-trending behaviors. This role requires close collaboration with co-brand card issuing partners, Loyalty & Marketing stakeholders and other United/MileagePlus partners, as appropriate, to deliver programs, promotions, and communications. + **Marketing** + Lead, create and implement marketing campaigns to drive card spend engagement, reactivate card spend, and/or retain existing cardholders from card attrition + Work with internal and external stakeholders in executing marketing campaigns in different channels including email, member statement, direct mail, online display and social media, among others + Obtain approval from all internal and external stakeholders before launching marketing campaigns + Perform competitive benchmarks and make recommendation about additional benefits required to make sure our co-brand cards remain competitive in the market + **Partnership program management** + Oversee program operations and resolve issue inquiries from partners and stakeholders + Work closely with partner(s) on ad hoc projects focused on driving growth, retention and customer experience + **Analysis** + Collaborate with Data Analytics to measure effectiveness of retention and growth strategies and to develop future tests and promotions + Establish on-going campaign implementation and tracking standards for more accurate result tracking + Publish and present monthly cardholder engagement dashboard to a broader stakeholder group Note: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including 50% of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely. **Qualifications** **What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent + 3+ years of experience in marketing, sales, partnerships or project management required; 2+ years of relevant, analytics-focused experience + Partnership marketing and integrated marketing knowledge + Marketing strategy and execution across email, direct mail, and web channels + Understanding of or prior experience in credit card or travel industry loyalty programs + Strong analytical skills + Strong written and verbal communication + Planning and organization skills + Ability to collaborate, gain alignment cross-functionally and manage conflicts + Ability to manage conflicts + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification + Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position **What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):** + Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Marketing Systems or equivalent + Prior experience in credit card or travel industry loyalty programs + Innovation and continuous improvement skills + Results-oriented mindset + Bilingual skills English/Spanish or English/Portuguese a plus The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
