What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst in the Topic Activation track within BCG's Social Impact Practice Area (SI PA) for the global health topic, you will work in a growing global and entrepreneurial team, providing functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory.

You will serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues, and bringing global health expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Additionally, you will support your topic in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets, and advancing commercialization efforts in conjunction with business leaders.

 

This role requires a proactive, self-driven and agile individual to drive a diverse range of responsibilities and tasks, including:

 

Knowledge management & IP development: Develop and manage BCG’s leading research and perspectives on global health, including: working with internal experts to develop new highly relevant analysis that supports our clients in achieving their impact objectives; maintaining an up-to-date repository of relevant analysis and prior case work; supporting the drafting of reports and publications; supporting BCG’s presence at strategic global health events.Commercial advice: working as a member of project teams to bring the best of BCG’s topic knowledge & expertise to support client objectives.Business development: curating and regularly updating credentials to support bids; supporting the development of proposals, including: conducting research; writing key technical and non-technical sections; preparing pitch materials; cataloguing proposals and capturing learnings.Relationships and networks: building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; leveraging these to identify and pursue business opportunities.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required (advanced degree preferred)1-2+ years of relevant consulting experience in global health; candidates with consulting experience preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferredTechnical expertise in global health, preferably with experience working across both system-wide strategies and commercial modelsExperience in health financing and/or private sector healthcare delivery is a strong advantageStrong project management and implementation experienceExcellent written and verbal communication (fluency in English required)Outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsAdvanced knowledge in Outlook, Word and Excel

 

Work authorization in Kenya required, open to Kenyan nationals or residents.



Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with the regional Vantage team in Kenya; the central global health team; the wider Social Impact Practice Area; our client teams; other global technical Practice Areas intersecting with health e.g. economic development, climate and sustainability, education; and our support functions, including finance and HR.
