What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst within BCG Vantage’s Climate & Sustainability Practice Area, you will be a core member of a fast-growing and entrepreneurial team that aims to be the top advisor and thought leader for both Southeast Asia's private and public sectors in the net-zero transition and sustainable development. By building and providing expertise on topics relevant to climate action, sustainability and ESG, you’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams, topic/sector leaders, and clients, helping solve complex and Impactful issues.
Additionally, you will develop existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets related to net-zero transition across industries and sectors. You will work on commercialization efforts for Climate & Sustainability with business leaders and support related marketing efforts, conferences, and publications. As a Knowledge Analyst, you will assist with on-boarding, training, and guiding junior new joiners colleagues and share best practices within the team. Climate & Sustainability is a fast-growing practice at BCG and a driving force for BCG's ambition to become the most positively impactful company in the world. What You'll Bring
1-2 or 3-5 years minimum relevant industry experience required; Relevant subject matter experience in at least 1-3 of the following areas required:Climate transition: CO₂ abatement strategies for private and/or public sector organizations, including emissions baselining, development of net-zero initiatives, and broader climate transformation effortsNet zero & decarbonization: Familiarity with key frameworks such as CDP, SBTi, TCFD, and the GHG ProtocolAdaptation & resilience: Strategies private and/or public adaptation to climate-related risks and enhancing organizational resilienceNature and Biodiversity: Nature-based solutions, ecosystem services, and biodiversity impact mitigationClimate Policy & Regulation: Insight into regulatory trends and policies related to climate change at local, national, and international levelsSustainable supply chain: Purchasing & supply management manufacturing operations, and green supply chain transformationSustainable growth: Portfolio strategy, product innovation, green business development; green growth acceleratorAdditionally, experience in 1-3 of the following areas would be seen positively for your application
Tool building: Development of tools and digital assets derived from internal knowledge bases for effective delivery and implementation with clientsGenerative AI: Use of generative AI technologies to support sustainability-focused analysis, solution design, or content generationSectoral experience: In-depth understanding of climate and sustainability challenges specific to one or more industries (e.g., energy, Energy (Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities), Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT), Consumer, Travel Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) Manufacturing. A passion for climate change and sustainability issues as well as flexibility and resourcefulness are required for success in a fast-growing practice areaBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Fluency in English and at least 1 regional SEA languageOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentPlease note this position is not restricted solely to the responsibilities listed above and that the job scope and responsibilities are subject to change
