WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a Treasury Senior Financial Analyst to join the Capital Planning, Investments & Rates team that resides within the Capital Markets team. Capital Markets is at the center of NIKE’s interactions with global financial markets, including debt capital markets, foreign exchange risk management, and capital return programs. You will be part of the team that manages NIKE’s multibillion dollar investment portfolio, and for developing related risk management strategies such as liquidity and interest rate risk. Successful Finance Managers are analytical thinkers that can communicate effectively with senior management while handling competing priorities in a quickly changing environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONOn any given day you might be involved in supporting the strategy for Capital Panning responsibilities, reviewing NIKE’s multibillion dollar investment portfolio, and related risk management activities. Key responsibilities includes supporting data management and analysis work, business performance analysis, capital return program management, capital structure analysis, risk management, and capital market transactions.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHSuccessful execution will require working closely with key cross-functional partners in Global Cash & Banking, Global Business Planning, Controlling, Tax, and Legal. Additionally, you will assist with leveraging NIKE’s external relationship banks for market research, and external investment advisors that we may work with to support achieving investment objectives.
WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
CFA charter holder preferred
3+ years of experience at the Global Headquarters of a publicly traded multinational company or at a financial services company
Experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, and/or Investment Banking
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with a keen ability to communicate complex concepts to wide and diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to Senior Leadership
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to learn and leverage tools such as Power BI
Comfortable working in ambiguous and quickly changing environments
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities; strong organization skills
