It all adds up to a lasting competitive advantage built on harnessing the power of our differences to achieve great things together, all while positively impacting the lives of hundreds of millions of people and the world.   **Senior Analyst** **, Trade Agreements Sourcing Strategy:** **Become the Newest Member of the VF Family** **:** As an extended member of VF’s Customs and Trade organization around the world (AMER, EMEA and APAC regions), based in VF’s office in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, the Senior Analyst, Trade Agreements Sourcing Strategy, will provide support in customs, global free trade agreements (FTA’s) and preference programs. to develop and manage the platforms and processes necessary to execute and optimize VF’s global duty spend. The primary responsibility of this role is providing support for implementing strategies to minimize B’s global duty spend. **How You Will Make a Difference: **   + Partnering with VF’s Global Product Supply organization, establish procurement frameworks necessary to guide the acquisition of raw materials meeting and supporting FTA or preference program Rules of Origin (ROO) for finished goods. + Partnering with VF’s Global Product Supply organization, develop data, costing and reporting models supporting a globally optimized Landed Duty Paid (LDP) sourcing framework. + Linked to VF’s extended Customs and Trade organization around the world, establish and support upstream brand design and development connectivity and processes governing FTA and preference program design choices. + Support the overall allocation strategy focused on lowering the duty footprint and the effect shifting production has on the VF’s overall LDP. + Support optimization reviews about diagonal and regional cumulation opportunities in the production cycle focused on claiming preferential origin on the finished products. + Support strategic alignment with Global Product Supply leadership, establish short, medium, and long term, multi-horizon supply planning objectives centered around utilizing and optimizing global FTA’s and preference programs. + Leveraging VF’s systems platforms, trade & customs master data, and partnering with VF’s Digital Technology organization, develop the necessary data models, architecture, and algorithms to produce optimized allocation output. **Skills for Success: **   2–5 years of experience in customs and global trade compliance, preferably within the apparel and footwear sector. Demonstrated ability to support trade strategy initiatives, analyze trade data and review Bill of Materials (BOM) to apply Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) across multiple regions including the United States, Canada, EU, UK, and APAC. Educational/Position Requirements:   + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or a related discipline + 2–5 years of experience in a customs or global trade capacity, preferably in the apparel and footwear sector + Foundational understanding of the global harmonized tariff system and rules of origin + Experience with supporting the interpretation and application of FTA preferences for APAC, EMEA, and US markets.
