About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, Sourcing – Dry Grocery, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and scaling businesses within the Packaged Foods division. You’ll lead complete sourcing strategies for current items, collaborate with Product Development to bring new innovation to life, and partner closely with Merchants to deliver results.
While the responsibilities are comparable to a Senior Manager role, this position will own 2–3 smaller, less complex categories—a perfect opportunity to demonstrate leadership and strategic impact. Candidates will be considered across the broader Food organization, with placement based on best fit.
What You’ll Do Define & drive sourcing strategy:
Establish and execute category sourcing strategies, manage budgets, and use insights and creativity to strengthen the customer experience.Build strong partnerships:
Leverage your leadership and influencing skills to collaborate externally with suppliers and internally with merchants, Product Development, and cross-functional business partners.Influence business decisions:
Partner with Merchants and Merchandise Operations to shape decisions across replenishment, supply chain, manufacturing, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular planning, and pricing.Create & launch innovative products at EDLC:
Work hand-in-hand with Product Development to design, test, and launch new items for Walmart’s Private Brands at incredible costingBecome the category expert:

Skills required: Must have experience with: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite.Project management and planning.Communicating effectively with both peers and leadershipAnalytical skills. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
