We are seeking a highly motivated **Senior Analyst, Pricing Analytics** to join our team of analytics experts in the Commercial Excellence team at J&J Vision!
**Job Description:**
The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for integrating critical marketplace pricing analytics and reporting, in support of the global Vision business. The Pricing team responsibilities include development, implementation and oversight of global pricing and revenue growth management (RGM) strategies, policies and long-term capabilities across the J&J Vision portfolio of products with global sales of $5B. This role will work with the Regional Commercial, Finance & Pricing teams to manage and provide pricing and RGM insights and recommendations, across platforms and regions. It will require a high degree of business sense and understanding and ability to proactively recommend tools and techniques to support secondary market sources and marketplace understanding across the business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Build and maintain pricing analytics capabilities for monthly and quarterly performance of key pricing metrics, profitability performance, complimented by ad-hoc analyses to support risk and opportunity assessment with recommendations
+ Perform advanced analyses to evaluate critical areas for revenue growth and profitability improvement, including price setting, revenue optimization, and strategic alignment with channels, products and customer segments.
+ Perform data mining, cleansing, and manipulation; identify necessary data elements and their sources, use appropriate tools to acquire and consolidate large volumes of data from different sources.
+ Collaborate with the global and regional cross-functional stakeholders across Pricing, Finance, Marketing to define and deploy robust and effective pricing analytics capabilities.
+ Conduct regular pricing workshops and trainings to enhance organizational pricing awareness and identify revenue growth and profitability risks and opportunities.
**Qualifications**
+ Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred. Background in computer science, math, marketing, finance or other quantitative field is preferred
+ A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in problem solving using quantitative research, analysis, and data
+ Strong proficiency in tools across data engineering (SQL, Dataiku, Alteryx), data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) is required. Exposure or working knowledge of advanced analytics / data science (Python, R) is desirable
+ Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with deep experience in complex Excel models and large data sets
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with multiple business partners.
+ Ability to work in an agile environment with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Preferred:
+ Meaningful Pricing analytics experience preferred with prior consulting experience a plus.
+ Prior experience in Medical Device/Healthcare industry is a plus
+ Strong project management skills in a deadline driven environment.
