THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Senior Analyst, People Compliance Fair Workweek, you will be responsible for driving enterprise compliance efforts with a specific focus on Fair Workweek (predictive scheduling) laws through advanced analysis, insight development, and strategic cross-functional partnership. Serving as the subject matter expert on Fair Workweek compliance, you will translate workforce data into actionable insights that support restaurant operations and enable informed decision-making across the organization. You will also collaborate closely with the broader Fair Workweek Training and People Compliance Data & Reporting teams to ensure consistent data governance and impactful operations reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead the ongoing development, refinement, and execution of Fair Workweek compliance reporting and analytics across jurisdictions, ensuring clear visibility into operational practices and supporting informed decision-making at both field and enterprise levels.Drive accuracy and scheduling effectiveness related to Good Faith Estimates (GFE) by analyzing schedule change trends, partnering with field leaders to implement practical improvements that reduce administrative burden, developing and maintaining jurisdiction-specific KPIs aligned to ordinance requirements (including initial and updated GFE processes), and exploring automation to enable scalable, ad hoc reporting access.Conduct internal compliance-related audits to identify patterns, assess risk exposure, and determine the appropriate remediation strategies.Validate physical posting requirements are met in accordance with both ordinance standards and to Chipotle expectations. Recommend and advocate for system enhancements that improve end-user experience and support the project management lifecycle from initiation and requirements-gathering to implementation testing and enhancement delivery.Support restaurant operations’ requests for additional insights through ad hoc requests, considering their long-term impact and incorporating any improvements into current FWW reporting.Develop automation solutions for recurring reporting needs and build and maintain clear, thorough documentation.Assist in developing training resources, materials, and exercises to create and maintain critical Fair Workweek compliance reporting tools (e.g., user guides, quick reference guides, FAQs, tips and tricks, e-learning).Model ordinance impacts for new jurisdictions and assess operational readiness prior to implementation, including current scheduling, onboarding, and roster management practices impacted by ordinance requirements.Support cross-functional reporting responsibilities and recommend enhancements that improve clarity, efficiency, and compliance management.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics or a related field, or equivalent in work experience required.PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred. 3 – 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Employment Compliance, Reporting and/or Auditing, Restaurant or Retail Operations, or Workforce Management.Demonstrated experience of data mining techniques with the ability to extract, organize, filter, and analyze to draw conclusions and provide influential data storytelling.Technical proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Tableau, and other related applications.Working knowledge of project management principles, including requirements gathering, timeline management, cross-functional coordination, and implementation support.Demonstrated interest in HR compliance and Fair Workweek ordinances, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational practices.Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.Ability to travel to Fair Workweek markets (approximately 5%).
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $60,000.00–$81,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
