CNN is seeking a Senior Analyst, New Product Analytics to join our Growth Analytics team. This role will balance delivering actionable insights that drive marketing strategy for our core Growth business and also serve as a partner and lead for the New Products vertical at CNN. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a strategic mindset, who is strong at managing priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

The Daily

The Senior Analyst, New Product Analytics will:

Serve as the key analytics partner for the upcoming launch of our Weather app and future New Products.Analyze paid and organic marketing campaigns to optimize acquisition, engagement, and retention.Lead the analytics roadmap for zero-to-one product initiatives coming out of the New Products mission at CNN.Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs and provide actionable insights.Partner with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams to design and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments.Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and inform marketing and product strategies.Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure data accuracy and scalability of analytics solutions.

The Essentials

3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in marketing, growth, or digital media.Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Looker and TableauFamiliarity with marketing  and product analytics concepts such as attribution, funnel, LTV, and cohort analysis.A proven track record of providing actionable insights that drive business impact in the form of revenue or profit.

Logical mindset capable of making appropriate trade-offs between speed and analytical depth without sacrificing qualityStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Comfortable communicating with diverse audiences and translating data into strategic recommendations.A self-starter passionate about using data to drive decisions.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience doing analytics for a zero-to-one product.Exposure and working knowledge of MMM (Media Mix Modeling).Experience with statistical programming languages (Python, R).Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experimental design.Exposure to digital subscription businesses or media industry.Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.).

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $87,500.00 - $162,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
