We’re looking for an experienced Materials Planning and SIOP professional to join our team and help drive supply and demand planning excellence. In this role, you’ll contribute to improving systems and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance within the materials planning function. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to support financial forecasting and ensure alignment with operational goals. **What You Will Do**
+ Works with manufacturing team and develops monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
+ Responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
+ Establishes clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
+ Responsible for planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
+ Responsible for the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
+ Identifies appropriate demand streams and establishes data relationship linkages.
+ Works with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts
+ Fluency in English is essential to perform job-related tasks and collaborate across team
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Systems, preferred
+ APIC certification, preferred
+ Previous experience working in the aerospace industry
+ Experience using Microsoft Office
+ Experience working in scheduling and production planning. Strong understanding on BOMs and standard routing process
+ Experience using SAP ERP system
+ Leadership ability to conduct Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement events
+ Integrator across multiple teams, value stream and program management, business segments, and other network sites
+ Aerospace part blueprint reading technical aptitude
