About the Role

To ensure the company’s legal compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for providing expert legal advice, overseeing contract management, supporting corporate governance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Research on legal development within the insurance and related industriesProvide corporate and legal advice to the company’s business and operationsAssist the Legal Manager in providing legal advice which includes drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts and other relevant documentsAssist the Legal Manager in preparing the documentation with external lawyers on litigation against the companyCoordinate all corporate exercises involving the companyEnsure group policies and relevant local laws are properly maintained and are up to dateWork with internal stakeholders on project basis, when requiredCommunicate closely with the working group from relevant authoritiesManage the delivery of communication between the company and relevant stakeholdersPerform other duties assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of working experiences, preferably in insurance or financial servicesStrong knowledge of insurance law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworksExperience in contract negotiation, litigation, and corporate governanceGood written and verbal command of English & MyanmarStrong organizational skills, good presentation and report writing skillsHigh integrity & responsibility, good inter-personal skills, and good attitude
