**What You’ll Be Doing**
The Sr. Analyst, Fund Administration will be responsible for the review of fund valuations, capital activity, pricing, audit support, and tax compliance for our sponsored funds. In addition, the role will be responsible for overseeing the quarterly filings, board reporting, ad-hoc requests from our administrator and independent board, and annual 15C report. The employee will provide investor relationship support, assist with the all internal and external audits, and support the fund’s annual tax responsibilities. The analyst will resolve any issues and identify and implement controls. The analyst will participate in various ad hoc assignments including new projects.

**How You’ll Succeed**
+ **Key Responsibilities:** Coordinate annual audit, tax reporting, valuation review, capital review and processing, vendor oversight, independent board reporting, regulatory compliance for our funds.
+ **Collaborative & Strong Communicator** - Work collaboratively with various departments at CIBC to collect necessary information to fulfill requests and operational requirements Comfortable with phone/email correspondence, and phone/email etiquette.
+ **Client-Focused** - Develop strong relationships within the firm to build sustained confidence in order to improve the overall client experience and operational efficiency
+ **System Savvy** - Able to navigate many varied systems and is technically savvy. Examples of systems used in this role: SWP, Excel, Salesforce.
+ **Knowledge of products** - Familiar with registered interval / tender funds, 40 act mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, and multi-series funds.
+ **Multi-Tasker** - experienced with multi-tasking and working in fast-paced, often-changing environment. Experience working in a team where processes and procedures are changing and updating.
+ **Detail Oriented** - Complete all necessary activities related to the processing capital activities, audit support, tax reporting, and board reporting tasks. Act as the Subject Matter Expert on running mutual fund and private funds.

**Role Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
+ 3-5 years of Fund Administration, Tax Accounting, Audit, or Accounting experience with interval funds, mutual funds, hedge or private equity funds.
+ Must be proficient with Excel
+ Expanded knowledge of alternative investments, security analysis and industry related expertise
+ Experience in investor relations is a plus
_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ $65,000K - $95,000K _for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
