Senior Analyst, Financial Systems: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
As part of the VF Accounting team, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst services as a liaison between Finance and Technology ensuring financial systems are effective, efficient and aligned with Finance needs. This position is responsible for analyzing, implementing, maintaining and training of Finance and Accounting systems covering all brands. Main tasks will include project management support, performing detailed requirements analysis, business process documentation, performing or facilitating user acceptance testing and creating and maintaining training documentation as well as delivering end user training. Successful candidates will possess an analytical thought process, continuous improvement mindset, strong ability to interpret accounting & financial business requirements and propose solutions to meet business needs.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Apply strong knowledge of accounting function to evaluate business processes, requirements, expectations, controls, system function and usage.Document business and performance requirements, standards, controls, system usage and expectations.Evaluate existing financial systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance process, functionality, efficiency, security and controls. Seek opportunities to maintain consistency in financial processes, systems and reporting across all brands and shared services.Manage system conversions and upgrades for Accounting and Finance teams inclusive of writing, conducting, and/or leading user acceptance testing. Project management support inclusive of documentation, facilitation, monitoring and escalation risks to ensure on-time completion of deliverables.Identify, diagnose, and resolve common systems issues; prioritize fix and enhancement requests.Evaluate any proposed financial systems for functionality and usage against standards, requirements and expectations. Document enhancements, gaps, control risks.Lead process mapping, continuous improvement, system & process integration discussions with cross functional business stakeholders. Documentation of process flows both within and across functions.Serve as a liaison between Finance end users, cross function stakeholders and technical resources. Facilitate prioritization of issues and initiatives based on business needs, risk and requirements; manage and escalate competing priorities.Develop, enhance, and lead training for the Finance teams on systems. Develop training documentation, training plan for new systems and/or enhancements. Deliver end user training and evaluate end user competency and readiness.Support financial close functions and systems enabling timely and accurate financial close and reporting.Partner with technology and data governance teams ensuring accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data and master data. Understand and apply data governance principles in addition to specific enterprise governance policies and procedures.Partner with technology and reporting teams on development, enhancement and validation of financial reporting.Integrate acquisitions into standardized systems and processes.Assist with audit and regulatory requirements. Provide details for review, assist in walkthroughs and ensure needs are met for auditors and statutory requirements.Years of Related Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience preferred.
Educational/ Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles; both theoretical and practical.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills.Ability to work independently, set and accomplish goals.High level of integrityStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams.Demonstrated experience making decisions, dealing with ambiguity, and influencing others.Polished communicator, comfortable interfacing and influencing leaders and parties internally and externally.A forward thinking, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to improve processes and drive change.Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environmentMust be able to work under pressure.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Adept at reviewing financial and other key data, noting trends and interpreting for vested parties.

Hiring Range:
$68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
