A centralized Process Transformation team of specialized engineers in manufacturing processes with direct relationship
with teams such as Advance Manufacturing, Platform Mfg Process, NPI Manufacturing, Factory Mfg Engineering, and all
departments.
Accountable to develop and deliver word class equipment, tooling and technology to the NAR factories using WCM
methodology
Define Technical Spec/RFQ (aligned to Platform Mfg)
● Partner with GSS to procure
● Commission of equipment, tolling and technology
● Installation of equipment, tolling and technology
● PPAP, and meet handoff contract for process technologies
● Technology support to Platform teams as requested
● Develop the PFMEA, MSE, process capability, control plan, std work, CPM, process characterization,
process map, and PM plans for new processes and update existing, per WPS playbook
● Early concept & design co-development
● BoP compliance and process standards
● Specify and design process technologies
● Production start up and signoff
● Follow asset build and delivery
● Business critical process issues
● Agile, flexible, scalable equip/tooling
● Support supplier selection process
● Select best technology/ supplier/ quality
● Support and align to WCM pillars
● Early Equipment Management
● Follow Process Transformation Standard process and tools.
Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
● Extensive experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (Project leadership and implementation)
● Advanced English
4+ years of Manufacturing engineering experience
● 3+ years of Metal forming process experience
● 3+ years Notching and Piercing process
● 3+ years flanging and punching process
● 3+ years at transfer systems and destacking process
● 3+ years radius forming
● 3+ years flanging
● 2+ years Interpolated bender and bending process
● 4+ years Autocad, Solid Works, Creo & Project management software.
● WCM knowledge
● Accurate communication skills
● High sense of urgency
● Ability to work under pressure
