You will be positioned as a key pivot role supporting two of five global Delivery Excellence organizations (the function is headquartered in Nike Singapore office and has additional locations in China and Vietnam) – Americas Delivery Excellence (supporting strategic inline apparel and accessories factory partners in the Western Hemisphere) and Uniform Operations (supporting NA Team and on-field / Promo uniforms delivery, including through a domestic / US-based factory partners) teams. Along with building critical relationships with WHQ-based Delivery Excellence teams, you will also work closely with a wide range of Nike functional teams including Global Sports Marketing, Partner Management, Global Sports Apparel teams, Product Creation Center, Factory Partners, Global/Geo Supply & Inventory Planning, Marketplace Operations, Sourcing, and others.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Delivery Excellence team in Apparel / Accessories Manufacturing organization (part of Product Supply Chain) to enable on-time Nike delivery from regional partners, while supporting Uniform Operations business. We’re looking for some length of experience with data analytics and related suite of tools and practices, enabling rapid data governance and exploration - someone who is comfortable around data and can extract, digest, and visualize it based on the needs of the business. You’ll work independently coordinating process and data priorities across two teams you’ll support, through becoming intimately connected to the teams’ full value chain. We’ll expect you to balance multiple fast-shifting priorities with critical thinking & out-of-the-box digitally forward solutions for key issues, to drive process clarity, to balance Nike and partner needs, and to develop strong agency and a good sense of prioritizing most business-critical tasks. Bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing, Sports Management, Product Creation, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
3-5+ years of experience in retail, project management, supply chain operations, product creation, planning, customer service, or similar fields strongly preferred.
2+ years in data manipulation & visualization; familiar and experienced with data flow management and tool design.
Seasoned technical acumen in Nike suite of tools (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server, Snowflake); thought leader able to influence what tools we build and how we use and generate the data.
Experience in apparel manufacturing a plus.
Able to organize, research, analyze and integrate large amounts of information accurately and quickly
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including both tactical and executive comms, converting process and data outputs into influence and storytelling.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The role has process and data accountabilities for Americas DEC; and requires data support for our Uniform Operations team.
Within Americas DEC, the role focuses on leading the global Sports Marketing deliveries, Americas data maintenance, analysis, and governance, and factory partner support in day-to-day operations as needed. On the Sports Marketing side, you’ll implement and maintain best practices and process discipline for Promotional product deliveries and drive SOP (standard operating procedures) compliance / training with our delivery excellence team and factory partners. You’ll also maintain and own all Promo stakeholder communications to global and regional leadership. For data analytics, you’ll provide support to our for intra-team and factory-facing activities, validating that our dashboards and reporting are accurate and aligned, troubleshooting reporting issues, optimizing/ reducing redundant manual data intervention by our teams, and creating new tools. You will also liaison to the Global DEC Center of Excellence team working in lockstep on dashboard governance, data cleansing, and ad-hoc projects as needed. Finally, you’ll know the factory-facing responsibilities of our office which include capacity management, delivery management, and delivery operations - this will allow you to provide process support for the team as needed and help the team iterate on ways to make their work more efficient and data-friendly.
In addition, you will be a key partner with the Uniform Operations team providing data and BI support for the team delivering product for our most visible assets – on-field and Team apparel. Those needs include data cleansing, dashboard creation, task automation, and creating executive level reporting.
