Trans-Canada Capital (TCC) is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Data management. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Senior Analyst, Data management will play a key role in the management and governance of market data, which are essential to the proper functioning of investment strategies and risk management. This role combines financial expertise, analytical rigor, and technological acumen.
The selected individual will choose TCC for its collaborative work environment, innovative approach to asset management, the diversity and sophistication of its investment strategies, growth potential, close working relationships across investment teams, and competitive total compensation.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of four days per week onsite at our downtown Montreal office.
Responsibilities
Data Management and Vendor Relations
Manage data pipeline\: oversee the acquisition, validation, normalization, and distribution of data.Participate in managing relationships with market data providers, ensuring data quality, compliance, and service continuity.Negotiate and monitor market data contracts, including cost management and license compliance.Ensure the reliability, consistency, and availability of market data across business lines.Business Support and Reporting
Collaborate closely with investment teams and business lines to meet their data needs.Design and maintain robust data models tailored to business requirements.Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to support decision-making.Optimize processes for accessing and leveraging market data within the organization.Data Governance and Leadership
