Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world. Plan the procurement of the material required to support Customer Demand and New Product introduction, and develop and execute the business unit production schedule. **How you'll make an impact:** • Plan materials requirements and provide to CR to support production schedules and new product launches with increased complexity and volume and with higher level of autonomy. including: • Working with the supplier to ensure materials are made to the proper specs • Leading cross functional teams to resolve obstacles to meeting the schedule, including, but not limited to, resolving issues with non-conforming material, unclear specifications or vendor capacity constraints • Expediting purchase orders as required. Includes expediting material from the receiving dock though receiving inspection, to production stores • Provide regular analysis and reporting, including information on: Backorders, Service levels (actual vs. plan). Inventory Value, Consignment levels, actual vs. plan • Support action plans to minimize Excess & Obsolete Inventory • Other duties assigned by Leadership **What you'll need (Required):** Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of related experience in purchasing, production control and logistics Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry **What else we look for (Preferred):** • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite • English Level: Advanced •Experience in cost analysis is desirable, as well as a background in data analysis or advanced Excel. • Experience ERP (e.g. JDE) preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills, strong analytical and statistical skills • Solid knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management programs (e.g., JIT/Kanban, Min/Max) • Solid knowledge of market and economic indicators, practices and procurement procedures • Strict attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, representing the organization on specific projects, and vendors/suppliers • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships • Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
