Position Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day administration and ownership of US health and core benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life, disability, and other benefit plans, and policies for union and non-union colleaguesAssist with plan design review including driving annual enrollment process, partnering on Workday configuration, testing and implementing design changesSupport ongoing benefit activities, including oversee and review of data flow, file feeds and collaborate with the Workday team on configuration updatesSupport ongoing Benefit Deduction integrations, including the implementation of a Closed Loop Payroll processEvaluate, implement, and manage wellbeing programs to support overall health of colleaguesResponsible for research and feedback to escalated benefit issuesManage, promote and support ancillary programs as requiredDevelop and manage vendor relationships, including consultants and third-party administrators, to gather data and understand benefit plan dynamicsIdentifies trends and develops solutions to improve customer experienceOversee vendor contractual adherence and renewals in coordination with procurement team to ensure timely invoice remittance within annual budgetCollect, analyze, and summarize employee benefit data and trendsIdentify process improvements, including data quality, reporting and other opportunities to improve overall service and satisfaction levels for both associates and the Benefits management team.Assist the Benefits team and other stakeholders (i.e., Labor Relations, HRBPs) in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources using Excel spreadsheets and other analytical toolsAnalyze results, interpret data and summarize findings and implications using PowerPoint, Word, and other written communication formatsPrepare initial cost projections to support plan design decisions and budget impact for multiple benefit plansResearch external sources of information, including healthcare costs and benefit plan trends to fully inform management decisionsMaintain/oversee compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ERISAAssist in identifying new, emerging regulatory compliance mattersAd hoc projects as required, assigned, or requested to continue optimizing plans effectiveness and efficiencyQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience required5-7 years of experience analyzing benefit plansAdvanced knowledge in MS applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPointAn understanding of federal and state regulations governing benefits plansKnowledge of health and welfare, retirement, and leave benefit products, services and toolsPreferred Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience analyzing benefit plansProject management experience preferredExperience with system testing, implementation, or configuration of benefits platformsExperience working in a large, complex organization and union populationsWorkday HCM & Payroll experienceExperience with vendor systems such as bSwift or BusinessolverExperience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements and associated benefitsTechnical Skills & Abilities:
