How you’ll make an impact:

Analyze and interpret complex monthly financial results to identify financial issues, for business leaders; provide insights and make recommendations regarding possible course correctionsAnalyze weekly and monthly trends (e.g., labor, overhead, discretionary spend) in partnership with business leaders to develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets and provide feedbackDraw findings from financial and trend reports, synthesize information, and create presentations for managementPartner with leaders to advise on financial impact of recent/proposed process changesAssess system capabilities and process efficiencies, and make recommendations for enhancements and upgradesPrepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; calculate, update, and maintain product standard cost in ERP system; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysisPrepare annual tax filingsResponse and resolve questions for tax consultants and auditors in annual statutory filingsAssist in compliance activities (e.g., SOX, key and internal controls, fixed asset audits, physical inventory) Analyze ROI (Return on Investment) of expenditures for projects, identify operational implications, and recommend improvements

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting or related field, 5 years experience of previous related cost accounting experience requiredProven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SP) experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skillsExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skillsExperience working in a subsidiary area within an international company; preferably in the United States required
