In this role you will: + Play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features right from the beginning. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a groundbreaking journey. + Streamline and automate the process of monitoring, analyzing, and applying legal changes to enable customer compliance with local regulations in multiple countries and industries. Gain valuable insights into critical Business Processes. + Work closely with multiple frontrunner teams in AI environment globally. + Explore and assess new technologies in the field of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, tools, and infrastructure to evolve existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud. + Design and build stable and scalable AI based solutions, PoCs and first versions of new products & features. Make critical design decisions selecting underlying technologies. + Lead and own the entire development process, designing and implementing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products. + Investigate, analyze complex problems; and resolve critical issues. **YOUR PROFILE** If you are self-driven and flexible, you are a perfect fit for our team. Further role requirements are: + Degree in Engineering / Computer science or equivalent subject. + Solid experience using Python or similar languages as a backend systems developer. + Extensive experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud, knowledge of SAP BTP is an advantage. + Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker. + Strong knowledge in prompt engineering techniques such as retrieval augmented generation or few-shot prompting. + Expertise in agent frameworks such as ReAct. + Experience with MCP or similar technologies (a plus). + Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and database usage. + Extensive experience with common tools for agile project planning and tracking, source code control, and continuous integration (e.g., JIRA, Git, Jenkins). + Ability to work independently and lead projects. + Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. + Good English language skills (written and verbal). **WORK EXPERIENCE** + At least 5 years of relevant experience. **Bring out your best** SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
