What you’ll do:
Architects large scale software solutions that seamlessly merge traditional software modules with GenAI / AI components
Expertise in Python language stack and familiarity in Golang stack
Organizes and leads comprehensive code and design review sessions, driving discussions to align with project requirements and best practices. Mentor and provide feedback to junior and mid-level team members.
Drives efficient implementation of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles across projects
Designs RESTful Services - Expert-level knowledge of architectural constraints (Statelessness, Cache ability, Uniform Interface) and the design of resource-oriented APIs using FastAPI or similar techniques
Implements real-time Bidirectional Streaming – using web sockets or similar techniques for low-latency, stateful connections, including managing connection persistence via AWS API Gateway or Redis/Valkey pub-sub layers.
Implements Event-Driven Architectures (EDA) - Proven ability to design decoupled systems using different messaging patterns (Sync / Async). Must be proficient with message brokers such as Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka/MSK.
Ability to design high-performance internal communications systems - Experience with gRPC and protocol buffers for high-throughput microservices communication.
Ability to optimize the architecture / code to meet business requirements related to latency and concurrency
Understands the language of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts and incorporates their inputs into designed architecture
Ability to guide team on design of database schemas for handling structured and unstructured data
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
Effectively leverages observability tools like New Relic, Grafana
Ability to break down complex problems into manageable, iterative technical solutions.
Knowledge on cloud technology (AWS preferred) and DevOps - containers, kubernetes or serverless, infra-as-code, CI/CD, monitoring and logging stacks
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design the appropriate solutions. Determine the appropriate algorithms, models, and frameworks to use and architect the overall system to ensure scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
l Work with data and analytics specialists to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
Identify trends, patterns from dataset to scope opportunities for automation
Aids deployment of machine learning models into production environments, considering scalability, performance, and security considerations.
Works collaboratively with the engineering manager and team lead to set design and implementation standards, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with project goals.
Works with Front End, Data Engineering and DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate the software and deploy into production environment
Regularly leads meetings, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Has experience in providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
Address and resolve challenges proactively.
Develops and delivers strategic presentations and reports to senior stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of technical and business aspects. Provide insights and recommendations.
What you need to bring:
We are looking for a candidate with 8-12 years of experience in a Software Development role, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field.
7+ years experiences architecting large software solutions and deployed in Production environment. Some of the solutions need to developed incorporating AI models and tools.
Experience working in technical support environment, working with dataset from CRM, H/W and S/W bugs data, machine logs
Experience supporting and working with multi-functional teams in a multidimensional fast paced environment.
Good team worker with excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
Have deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and have led / worked in the different phases of SDLC.
Strong hands-on coding skills with expertise in Python language stack and familiarity in Golang stack
Experience in introducing new tools and techniques (AI based) for quality development of software solutions
Expert level knowledge in – RESTful Services, implemented statelessness, Cache ability, and Uniform Interface across services
Experience in implementing: Event Driven Architecture (EDA), Real-time streaming systems and internal communication systems
Have built processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
Good knowledge on design pattern concepts
Understanding of AI concepts and different AI models and metrics
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Experience in design and optimization of databases (Structured / Unstructured) for information retrieval
Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake platforms
Experience with AWS, S3, Spark, Kafka, Elastic Search
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
Have with Front End, Data Engineering and DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate the software and deploy into production environment
