We are looking for a Senior AI / Agentic Solutions Engineer to help us build advanced agentic systems that operate within complex enterprise landscapes. This is not a research role and not a toy project—this is about shipping real, integrated, production-grade AI solutions. **Your role and responsibilities** Agentic Solution Design & Development Design, build, and evolve complex agentic AI solutions operating in integrated enterprise environments. You will work with modern agentic frameworks to orchestrate autonomous, multi-step reasoning workflows and production-grade AI services. Enterprise-Grade Software Engineering Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using Python and modern backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI). Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, performance, security, and observability. Cloud & Platform Integration Design and deploy solutions in the cloud--preferably AWS--and integrate them into an existing ecosystem of services, APIs, and platforms. Ensure smooth interoperability with upstream and downstream systems. Architecture & Technical Leadership Contribute to solution architecture decisions, design patterns, and best practices for agentic systems. Support technical reviews, guide implementation choices, and help set engineering standards for agent-based solutions. Operational Excellence & DevOps Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, monitoring, logging, and secure configuration management. Ensure solutions are production-ready, auditable, and easy to operate at scale. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Proven experience designing and implementing agentic AI solutions * Strong software engineering background with experience building enterprise-ready systems * Advanced Python skills and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI * Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (preferably LangGraph or similar) * Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS * Experience integrating solutions into complex, existing ecosystems of services and APIs **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with agent-to-agent (A2A) communication patterns * Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) * Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager * Knowledge of OIDC and OAuth authentication and authorization mechanisms * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern DevOps practices IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
