SENIOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for new product launch process and equipment and leading standardization and innovation initiatives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to: Define assembly process according to customer and internal requirements Maintain project timelines aligned with product launch milestones Define equipment, lead procurement, project management, installation and testing activities Maintain open issues list and drive completion Lead cross functional teams supporting above activities Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment Estimate cost of product and process changes Travel to support plants 25% average, 50% peak

Your Qualifications:
>3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering Project management Labor analysis / work measurement Line balancing Creation of technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipment Plant layout using AutoCad Lt / 2D Experience with assembly equipment; build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers etc Hands-on experience implementing change on production floor Strong communication & interpersonal skills High attention to detail Sense of urgency
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in JIT automotive or seating Experience with industrial control systems Experience developing automated shipping processes Engineering / process change control MOST certification Experience creating & maintaining standard work instructions APQP PFMEA
