Job Description:
This position is primarily responsible for providing actuarial support for IFRS 17 financial reporting. The individual will collaborate closely with the reporting team on various IFRS 17 financial reporting processes, including but not limited to Reserve Valuation, Experience Studies, and Method and Assumption changes. Additionally, the role may involve participation in actuarial projects such as IFRS 17 financial optimization and reporting process enhancements.
Responsibilities
Provide support for IFRS 17 Financial Reporting, including Reserve Valuation and analysis such as Source of Earnings Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis or Capital Analysis
Perform quantifications and provide actuarial modeling support for Method and Assumption changes
Conduct experience studies and monitoring
Contribute to additional actuarial projects and business initiatives as assigned
Requirements
Active pursuit of actuarial qualifications (e.g., Society of Actuaries exams or equivalent from other recognized actuarial bodies)
Eagerness to learn
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of IFRS 17 reporting regime is preferred
Prior experience with Moody's AXIS software is an advantage
Candidates will be considered for Senior Actuarial Analyst, Actuarial Analyst, or Actuarial Assistant roles commensurate with their experience and qualifications
