Key Details:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with GAAP accounting policies, with an emphasis on hotel finance background
At least 2 years of hotel finance experience and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
2 years accounting leader experience.
Experience with OnQ, PeopleSoft, and union processes preferred
Proven ability to lead, delegate tasks, and manage a team
Maintains a positive, approachable attitude while consistently reinforcing standards and expectations
Ensures department readiness for audits and compliance requirements
Shift Pattern: Onsite AM PM
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 and is based on specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?
As an Accounting Manager, you would be responsible for managing the audit function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Reconcile General Ledger accounts, review discrepancies and problematic accounts and guide staff to follow-up on such accountsEnsure processing and accuracy of reports including, but not limited to, month-end closing, monthly forecast and variance, etc.Control and track inventories of operational, departmental and team member meal budgetsEnsure the correct downloading of data into timekeeping systemsManage weekly submission of time and attendance data, including gratuitiesCalculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for received checksConduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecksMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewardRecruit, interview and train team membersWhat are we looking for?
