Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant to support our healthcare finance team during a critical period. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting billing activities, and ensuring timely reconciliations and expense management.
The position will begin with in‑office training to ensure a smooth onboarding and strong understanding of systems and processes, then transition to a hybrid schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP and healthcare accounting standardsPerform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and income statement accountsSupport billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepanciesReview, track, and reconcile expenses, including accruals and variance analysisAssist with month‑end close activities and reporting deadlinesCollaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and billing teamsIdentify process improvements and support documentation of accounting proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)3+ years of interim/consulting experience within accountingStrong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, billing, and expense managementJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Addison, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.50/hr.
