Senior Accounting Consultant
Senior Accountant Consultant Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves collaborating with the SAP S/4HANA implementation team, supporting general accounting tasks, and contributing to process improvements. Responsibilities + Collaborate with the SAP S/4HANA implementation team to support the system transition from Sage 500 to SAP. + Assist with general accounting close activities, including reconciliations, postings, and financial statement preparation. + Provide audit support, including documentation requests and footnote preparation. + Backfill accounting responsibilities during month-end close and audit periods. + Transition into recurring day-to-day accounting tasks starting February to allow internal team members to focus on SAP testing. + Work extensively in Excel to support reporting and reconciliation needs. + Participate in conversations with the implementation team and contribute to process improvements. Essential Skills + Proven experience in general accounting and audit support. + Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA and Sage 500. + Advanced Excel skills. + Strong attention to detail and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to 'roll up sleeves.' + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment The position will report to a director. The work environment encourages collaboration and teamwork, with opportunities to work independently as well. The role involves extensive use of Excel and requires effective communication with the implementation team to facilitate process improvements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
