**What you will do:** ​​​The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for executing Account reconciliations related to assigned entities in Stryker’s newly created Costa Rica Shared Service Center and additional support required to meet month-end close activities or any ad-hoc request. ​ + Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities + Investigate and resolve unsupported balances + Provide support to businesses on requests related to journal/recon backups + Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses + Financial Statement analysis + Drive month-end closing process and any request as deem necessary + Control and validate WBS activity. + Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP + Performs other related work as assigned by management **What you need:** + +3 years of relevant experience working in accounting or the full accounting cycle.​ + ​Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large global organization will be an added advantage​ + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field + ​MS Office Suite + ​Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
