Job Description
The Senior Accountant serves as a key financial partner to the business, with a strong focus on cost accounting, production analysis, and financial reporting. This role manages core accounting processes, supports forecasting and budgeting, and collaborates closely with operations to strengthen internal controls, optimize costs, and improve overall business performance. The position offers the opportunity to work with international markets and contribute to the financial success of a growing organization.
Responsibilities
Analyze and report on production costs, inventory, and variances, and maintain accurate standard costing.Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and conducting reserve analysis.Manage cash reporting activities and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of cash positions.Oversee fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliation within the ERP system.Administer and track capital projects within the ERP system to ensure proper accounting treatment and alignment with company policies.Support sales analytics by providing financial insights, profitability analysis, and performance reporting.Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes by preparing financial models, analyzing trends, and validating assumptions.Support tax and audit requirements by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and responding to inquiries.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Hands-on experience with fixed assets accounting and cost analysis.Strong ERP system experience, such as SAP or Oracle.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data management and analysis.Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification preferred.Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.Experience supporting sales analytics, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Experience working within international or multi-market environments.Demonstrated ability to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.Comfort working cross-functionally with operations and other business partners.Work Environment
This is an in-office role operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours. The position works within an ERP-driven accounting environment, leveraging systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. You will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and other cross-functional teams in a professional office setting, with exposure to international markets and a growing, performance-focused organization.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
