Senior Accountant

URGENT Consultant Opportunity

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. This role involves significant reporting responsibilities to the bank, as well as journal entries in TGI-ERP and extensive work in Excel.

Responsibilities

Reconcile account balances and bank statements.Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures.Provide reporting to the bank 1-2 times per week.Perform journal entries in TGI-ERP.Utilize Excel for pivot tables, filters, and trial balance adjustments.Build out reports using Excel, especially when new GL codes are involved.Support ad hoc projects as needed.Log in for 1-2 hours on weekends every other week for necessary updates.

Essential Skills

5+ years of accounting experience.Intermediate proficiency in Excel.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience in cost accounting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with the manufacturing industry is a plus.Ability to work well independently.Familiarity with CPA or audit experience is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
