This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant, located in Athens. The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Accounting & Tax Manager, will be responsible for managing key accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local tax and financial regulations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with internal and external teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial reporting from initiation to completion.

Activities Execute finance and accounting activities (invoice processing, data entry, reconciliation, payment preparation) on her/his perimeter including closingProcess receipts, statement of accounts, claims and invoices accurately in due timeMaintain organized and up-to-date financial recordsLiaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issuesAssist in preparing financial reports and summariesGenerate and update reports or summaries on management's requirementValidate the data received before conducting all analysis and manages exceptions Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Company policies and running appropriate reportsSupport issue resolution based on analysis and errors related to processing of accounting dataBe the point of contact with central accounting  Handle accrual and provisions issues and computationsProcess with "myDATA" submissions monthly Candidate Profile Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProven track record at least of 5 years experienceGreek accounting standards (International accounting standards as a plus)Familiar with ERP systemAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external authoritiesTeam-orientedExcellent command of Greek LanguageProficiency in English Additional Information
