Job Description Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions while supporting operational and administrative needs. Key Responsibilities Prepare invoices for catering service sales. Record daily sales journal entries in QuickBooks based on Micros reports. Manage transfers between four accounts at Banco Popular. Prepare petty cash checks and record cash purchases. Maintain control of issued gift certificates (Gift Cards). Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Purchasing and Accounts Payable Oversee perpetual and physical inventory of beverages. Record invoices for goods and services purchases. Process electronic payments and checks for suppliers and service providers. Register credit card transactions and ensure timely payments. Manage Amazon purchases and coordinate pickup of shipments arriving by sea. Payroll Approve payroll entries in the Al Chavo system for electronic payment. Process contributions to the 401K plan for each payroll period. Other Responsibilities Manage subscriptions for digital tools used in marketing and administrative functions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in comprehensive accounting processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks, bank reconciliations, and electronic payment platforms. Knowledge of inventory control and purchasing processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
