Senior Accountant

What the day will look like + Manage the finance function for a portfolio of captive insurance clients. + Review management accounts, financial statements, and group reporting packs; maintain accounting systems. + Produce budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc reports/analyses as required. + Prepare Board papers and present at Board and client meetings (locally and off-island). + Attend client, board, and other meetings as needed. + Support team members in the day-to-day management of clients. + Manage day-to-day treasury functions. + Handle group queries and liaise professionally with clients. + Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards and financial products affecting clients. + Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships. + Assist the line manager with revenue and profitability for each client, including generating additional revenue. + Liaise with auditors. + Ensure compliance with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management.
