Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Stamford, CT. Day to Day Responsibilities: * Senior Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.) * Prepare budget to actual variance analysis, supplying detailed "drill down" management reports * Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy * Assist with an ERP software data integration and "go live" process * Support audits and internal control, risk minimization, and process efficiency initiatives * As a Senior Accountant, you will work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance * Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors
