Senior Accountant - Bedford, MA (Hybrid)

Our client, a company in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role will support general ledger, audit, and financial reporting activities in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month- and quarter-end closeEnsure accuracy and completeness of accounting documentation and audit trailPerform analysis to explain accounting results and trendsPartner with cross-functional teams to gather and process accounting informationSupport quarterly reviews and annual audit activitiesAssist with SOX compliance and internal controls

Qualifications:
